Job summary

Aria Partner in Brussels seeks an experienced PMO Consultant & Project Manager (M/F/X) to structure and run complex ICT projects and programmes for public and private clients, with emphasis on procurement and contracts.

You set up governance, manage end-to-end projects, coordinate suppliers, and prepare tender requirements, joining a small expert team in a hybrid work model across Brussels, Wallonia and/or Flanders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management, IT or a technical field.
• 3 to 7 years’ experience as a PMO or project manager, ideally in the public sector or a public company.
• PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA or Agile (Scrum, SAFe) certification is appreciated.
• Experience with ICT projects or projects with a procurement or public tender component is a major asset.
• French and/or Dutch: native or fluent; English: good command.

Responsibilities

• Set up governance: steering committees, planning, budget tracking, risk and dependency management.
• Produce reporting for sponsors and executive committees.
• Maintain the project portfolio and tracking tools.
• Run projects end to end: scoping, planning, team coordination, acceptance testing and closure.
• Coordinate suppliers and monitor the performance of contracts, together with the client’s buyers.
• Prepare, with the buyers, the requirements that will lead to a public tender.
• Support change with teams and users.

You structure and run projects and programmes, often in ICT, for clients whose success depends on well-managed contracts and suppliers.

Your role

Tools

• MS Project or equivalent, advanced Excel.
• Power BI, Jira or a portfolio management tool is an asset.
