Job summary

Onetowin is seeking a Platform Architect who defines and shapes the network and security architecture across the company. You will align with corporate standards, regulatory requirements including NIS2, and IT transformation objectives.

You will lead architecture strategy, roadmap, and governance, collaborating with Solution Architects and the Security Governance team to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define the technology roadmap for network and security platforms.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose development paths.
• Contribute to the simplification and rationalisation of the technology landscape.
• Ensure that architectures comply with security and resilience requirements.
• Participate in NIS2 initiatives and risk management programmes.
• Define architectural standards, principles and best practices.
• Carry out architecture reviews and validate major technical designs.
• Act as an Architect or Technical Lead on strategic projects.
• Support Solution Architects and Project Managers in making technical decisions relating to the domain.
• Identify dependencies, risks and cross-functional impacts.
• Act as the point of reference for the Build and Run teams.
• Support the professional development of network and security engineers.
• Facilitate technical communities and architecture reviews.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and the documentation of solutions

Job description

The Platform Architect is responsible for defining, developing and ensuring the consistency of the company’s network and security architectures. They act as the technical and architectural point of reference for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements (notably NIS2) and IT transformation objectives.

The role combines technical expertise, strategic vision, project support and technical leadership within the Network and Security team. It involves close collaboration with Solution Architects and the Security Governance team.

Architecture and Strategy

• Define the technology roadmap for network and security platforms.
