Indinox in Lokeren is seeking an experienced Business Unit Manager to lead piping projects across diverse industries. You will manage projects from design to execution, ensuring quality and safety while being the main contact for clients and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in both Dutch and English. The position offers a salary between €4500 and €6500, along with extra-legal benefits such as a company car and opportunities for professional development.

Are you technically skilled, well-organized, and ready to take the lead on challenging piping projects? Indinox is looking for a Business Unit Manager for our division in Olen to strengthen our team and contribute to the successful delivery of piping projects across various industries.

As a Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining your professional network in the region while coordinating one or more projects from design to completion. You’ll oversee planning, budgeting, quality, safety, and execution, working closely with site managers, welders, and fitters to ensure everything is delivered as agreed. In addition, you’ll act as the main point of contact for clients and suppliers.

Building and developing a network of clients who may have interesting projects for us in the (near) future.

Coordinating and monitoring all aspects of a project

Managing and supporting your team (foremen, welders, fitters)

Ensuring efficient planning, materials management, and staff deployment

Consulting with clients on safety, planning, and changes

Monitoring quality, safety, and budget during the project

Spotting additional work and being open to new opportunities with the client

YOUR PROFILE

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skilled in reading plans and schematics (ISO, P&ID’s)

Strong communicator with a client-focused mindset

Technical insight to successfully complete projects

Flexible, stress-resistant and able to maintain oversight in complex situations

Fluent in Dutch and English; other languages are a plus

VCA VOL certificate

The necessary ambition to grow in your role

A few years of experience or a background in piping
