The Vrije Universiteit Brussel’s Faculty of Engineering, Department of Applied Physics and Photonics, Brussels Photonics group invites applications for a PhD-student with a doctoral grant to join the HARMONY_SBO project. The PhD focuses on first-time-right design tools for multi-optics imaging systems in harsh condition vision applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completed or on track with proof of enrolment.
• In-depth photonics and optical design knowledge.
• Strong programming and numerical simulation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop design tools for multi-optics imaging systems.
• Collaborate with AI researchers on image processing pipelines.
• Validate concepts through simulations and prototyping.
