Vulcain Engineering Belgium seeks a Senior Process & Project Engineer to lead multiple pharmaceutical engineering projects from definition to handover in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will manage scope, budgets and resources, coordinate production, validation, quality and maintenance teams, and drive process improvements, equipment upgrades and facility modifications to ensure compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Engineering, Process Engineering or CAPEX project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industrial project execution.
• Experience collaborating with validation, quality assurance, production and maintenance teams.
• Good understanding of GMP regulations, engineering standards and project lifecycle management.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Manage several small to medium-sized engineering and process improvement projects simultaneously within pharmaceutical production facilities.
• Define project scope, technical requirements, planning, budget and resource needs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities involving production, engineering, validation, quality, maintenance and external contractors.
• Lead process optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, product quality and operational performance.
• Prepare technical specifications, evaluate suppliers and support procurement activities.
• Monitor project execution, budget, risks and timelines while ensuring compliance with GMP and EHS requirements.
• Support commissioning, qualification and handover activities to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and presentations for management and project stakeholders.
