Resourcing Life Science in Belgium is seeking a seasoned Network Security Specialist to design, implement and maintain robust network infrastructures. You will configure firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security controls; investigate incidents; and work with internal teams and external providers to keep networks reliable and protected.

Candidates should have a degree in CS or information security, extensive network security experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and securing computer networks.
• Hands-on with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention/detection.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and routing.
• CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE or similar certifications are preferred.
• Degree in CS or information security or an equivalent qualification.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and oversee network infrastructures.
• Configure, supervise, and enhance firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures.
• Investigate and mitigate network and security incidents.
• Maintain reliability, efficiency, and protection of the network.
• Offer expertise and assistance to internal IT teams.
• Record and maintain documentation of network infra.
• Partner with external service providers.
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies.
