Novartis is seeking a Facility Project Engineer to drive the development and modernization of one of its largest manufacturing sites in Belgium. You will manage civil and infrastructure projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and oversee budgets and timelines to deliver compliant, scalable facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (Construction) or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil, industrial, or infrastructure projects within a highly regulated industrial environment.
• Knowledge of construction methods, structural engineering principles and building regulations.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage civil and infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare technical concepts, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project scopes.
• Coordinate engineering activities with production, maintenance, quality, EHS, utilities, and external contractors.
• Ensure project execution complies with GMP requirements, safety regulations, and applicable building codes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, procurement activities, and contractor performance.
• Support all project phases from concept development through engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and contractor deliverables.
