Job Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer who focuses on equipment and will be responsible for managing and executing CAPEX projects within the area of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute capex projects within preprocessing, compounding and filling of aseptic products in Puurs.
• Initiate the project, develop the business case together with the stakeholders.
• Reach out to suppliers, order equipment, perform design reviews and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning testing to get the new equipment up and running within the agreed timelines.
• Manage capex project: budget and schedule across departments.
• Become subject matter expert for the preprocessing, compounding and filling processes within the site.
• Take initiatives to challenge the status quo in the existing processes and evaluate alternatives and new technologies.
• Develop project execution strategy and execute investment projects according to customer needs (costs, schedule, functionality, quality).

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc.) or equivalent.
• 3 years of engineering experience, 2 of which are in investment projects, ideally in Pharmaceutical industry and aseptic production.
• Proven project management skills including contract management and project controlling.
• Good collaboration and inter-personal skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Desirable Requirements

• Leadership experience for the management of external resources.
• Understanding of qualification activities within pharmaceutical industry.
