Job summary

Darwin Recruitment in Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium seeks an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to uphold GMP standards in pharmaceutical production. You will maintain filling and packaging lines, read electrical diagrams, and ensure reliable, compliant operation.

The role requires an Electromechanics qualification (bachelor's ideal) and 3+ years pharma experience, or 5+ years in other manufacturing. Fluent French and intermediate English are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electromechanics, ideally a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in pharma, food, cosmetics, fine chemicals or biopharma production; or 5+ years in another industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis in a production setting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults, identifying root causes and implementing corrective solutions.
• Perform machine settings and format changeovers on filling and packaging lines.
• Check and adjust machine parameters within validated settings, ensuring compliant production.
• Maintain GMP documentation and traceability; apply 5S principles.
• Support site expansion and integration of new equipment; opportunities for training.
