Core Laboratories is seeking an Inspector I to perform entry-level sampling on vessels, rail cars, and shore tanks, ensuring proper labeling and safe transport for lab analysis. The role involves working at heights and with hazardous materials, with irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, at least one year in a service environment, and a valid Class B license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school/secondary education or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a service-oriented organization (preferred).
• Valid Class B driving license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Dutch and English fluently spoken.

Responsabilités

• Conduct sampling of petrochemical fluids and dry cargo as per predefined procedures.
• Follow client instructions, Saybolt Standard procedures, Global Safety Manual, and company policies.
• Participate in training and pass relevant examinations in petroleum, chemical, and gas inspection, hazardous materials transportation, and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling and secure storage of samples, including product details, storage method, time of sampling, and inspector name.
• Ensure timely and safe transportation of collected samples to the laboratory.
• Assist senior inspectors in inspection tasks as required.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field.
• To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.
