SOFICO, based in Ghent, Belgium, seeks a Performance Test Architect to own the performance engineering strategy for Miles platform across DB, API, and UI layers. You’ll drive testing, optimization, and scalability while guiding cross-functional teams to embed performance into software delivery.

Requirements include hands-on testing across DB/API/UI, strong analytical skills, and ISTQB CTFL 4.0 certification mandatory, with CT-PT recommended.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve the organization's performance testing and performance engineering strategy.
• Design and execute proactive performance assessments across database, API, application, and UI layers.
• Lead root cause analysis of complex performance issues and provide architectural recommendations.
• Design, oversee, and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Establish performance standards, benchmarks, and non-functional requirements.
• Guide development teams on performance best practices and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with product, development, cloud operations, and customer support teams.
• Support customers and internal stakeholders in diagnosing performance challenges.
• Manage and improve performance testing environments, tooling, and monitoring.
• Analyze and govern batch processing workloads for stability and throughput.
• Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of performance excellence.
