Description du poste

About us

We began our journey back in 2022 with the will to challenge the status quo. Frustrated by the limitations and lack of innovation within traditional IT solutions, our founders envisioned a company that could offer something more personalized and effective.

At craft it, we are artisans of technology, dedicated to crafting bespoke IT solutions that fit our clients' needs as precisely as a tailored suit. Our expertise spans various domains, enabling us to digitalize risk management processes with efficiency and finesse on a global scale.

We believe in the power of collaboration, integrity, inclusivity and forward-thinking. These values are the threads that weave together our atelier tapestry, creating a culture that celebrates diversity, nurtures creativity and values collective knowledge. Our approach to IT solutions is artisanal, prioritizing craftsmanship, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the intricate relationship between business and technology.

About the job

As our People Ops Lead, you will be a key architect in shaping the human landscapeand the employee experience at craft it. This is a people-first role: your focus is the human experience , how our Crafters grow, connect, and thrive, not the administrative plumbing (payroll, fleet and hard-HR operations are already handled). You'll own the soft-HR craft end to end, from the way we welcome new talent to the way we help each other get better, and you'll be our champion for responsible, sustainable business practices.

You will work closely with the Founder, the leadership team and all Crafters to ensure that our people strategy supports our business ambitions while preserving the unique spirit that makes craft it different.

People management & partnership.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all people-related matters.
  • Build trusted relationships and support employees and managers through workplace challenges.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Continuously enhance the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Talent, Growth & Employee Experience.
  • Lead recruitment activities from sourcing to offer, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Strengthen our employer brand and help position craft it as a place where people can grow and thrive.
  • Design and continuously improve onboarding programmes that set new hires up for success.
  • Own and evolve our performance management framework, including performance and salary review cycles.
  • Develop career paths, learning initiatives and growth opportunities aligned with both employee aspirations and business needs.
  • Support talent development and succession planning for key roles across the organisation.
Leadership & Manager Enablement.

Help our managers become exceptional leaders.

  • Coach and support managers on leadership, communication, feedback, performance management and talent development.
  • Partner with managers to navigate performance challenges, team dynamics and sensitive people matters.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, autonomy and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Culture, Engagement & Social Impact.

Strengthen a connected, inclusive and responsible culture by turning our values and ESG ambitions into meaningful initiatives, shared experiences and measurable progress.

  • Define and deliver a culture and engagement roadmap aligned with the company’s strategy, values and ESG ambitions
  • Translate our values into concrete behaviours, rituals and programmes that foster inclusion, collaboration, knowledge sharing and responsible business practices
  • Measure employee engagement and social impact, track progress against relevant frameworks such as B Corp, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Own internal events, team buildings and community initiatives, from everyday celebrations to flagship moments
  • Partner with leadership to communicate priorities and ensure our culture and social commitments evolve as the company grows
Your toolkit

We are looking for a hands‑on People professional who combines strategic thinking, empathy and strong execution.

  • A builder rather than a caretaker, with 5 to 8 years of experience in People Operations, People & Culture or HR, and excited to shape and scale the people function of a growing company.
  • A genuine passion for people, culture, employee development, and creating meaningful employee experiences, coupled with a strong interest in ESG and building a company culture that reflects these values in everyday decisions and practices.
  • Proven experience across recruitment, performance management, talent development, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance empathy and business pragmatism.
  • An autonomous, proactive, and hands‑on mindset, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
Success in the First 12 Months
