First, we built Norway’s leading online grocery store, and now, partnered with Mathem in Sweden, we’re on our way to becoming the world’s most effective retail system, delivering to thousands of Scandinavian doorsteps every week.

As part of our team, you’ll work with smart, passionate colleagues who bring their whole selves to work every day. It’s a fast-moving, collaborative environment where everyone is welcome and everyone’s opinion matters. Whether you're shaping the future of online retail, tackling complex logistical problems, or making everyday life better for our customers, your work will have a real impact. Read on to find out what part you could play in our story.

Our world-class logistics and tech solutions allow us to reduce food waste, save time and money, and ease the mental and physical load for people who want more space for life.

We’re looking for two new People Advisors to join our People team in Oda!

What we offer

  • A chance to make a real impact as a People Advisor in a fast-moving company with a product people love - while shaking up the grocery industry.
  • Teammates who aim high and have each other’s backs. We care about people, and that means supporting each other every step of the way.
  • A flat structure where we team up across disciplines to solve exciting challenges. Big ideas come from everywhere!
  • A transparent way of working. We use Slack to stay in the loop-less email, fewer meetings, more getting things done.
  • Discounted lunch and a free gym to stay fueled and energized.
  • A collaborative approach - we tackle exciting tech and product challenges together, across different fields.
  • A chance to shape the future of grocery shopping while building a company that’s here to stay.

What you’ll be doing as a People Advisor

As a People Advisor at Oda, you’ll play an important role in shaping how we support and develop our teams. You’ll be a partner for our Delivery/Fulfillment organization — and work closely with leaders to make sure we create great conditions for people to thrive and grow, while helping the business succeed.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of People Partners and Advisors who support each other, share insights, and collaborate across Oda. Together, we aim to build strong, people-centered practices that scale with the company.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for a group of leaders, ensuring that they know their personnel-related leader responsibilities and processes to follow
  • Be the go-to person for personnel cases like sick leave follow-up and performance management, advise leaders on such cases, and participate in meetings for complex cases
  • Help leaders utilize Workday, sick leave data, and Peakon data to identify improvement areas and advise them on ways to improve these
  • Support union negotiations and general dialogue, including preparing materials and documentation
  • Design and improve low to medium complex people processes and create learning material for leaders on those processes.
  • Participate in People projects, such as developing the leaders, improving value creation and/or people engagement and wellbeing
  • Bring insights from your areas to help improve how we work with people across our organization

To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy working both tactically and hands-on. You're curious, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating complex people challenges. You pay attention to detail, build trust easily, and know how to balance empathy with business needs. You're a confident communicator who’s not afraid to challenge or be challenged — always with the goal of helping people and teams grow.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Educational background in HR, relevant field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with operational HR, working closely with leaders
  • Strong understanding of both the human and business sides of leadership
  • Solid knowledge of labor law, union collaboration, and compliance matters
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Quinyx, Peakon, or similar)
  • Be able to work from Lier, Norway
  • Fluent in both English and Norwegian

What would be nice to have

  • A problem-solver who identifies root causes and recommends effective solutions
  • Someone who builds trust with leaders and union representatives while also challenging them when needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to be structured and thorough, but at the same time handle quick operational tasks when needed
  • Ability to prioritize and do things in a “good enough” way when things are hectic
  • It’s a bonus if you’ve worked with People data and enjoy drawing insights to support good decisions.
