Our client, a renowned actuarial consulting firm in Brussels, seeks a Pension Actuary Analyst to manage pension funds and advise on funding strategies. You will work with large corporate clients, apply IFRS/IAS standards, and contribute to ALM studies while mentoring junior colleagues.

The role offers a hybrid working model with up to three days remote and a focus on knowledge sharing within a collaborative team in central Brussels.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• 4–8 years of actuarial experience, ideally in pension funds or Employee Benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian pension schemes, IFRS/IAS standards and funding principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a critical mindset.
• Client-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well organized, autonomous and able to manage multiple projects.
• Team player who mentors junior colleagues.
• Fluency in Dutch and French is essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage actuarial aspects of several pension funds and retirement schemes.
• Perform valuations, funding analyses and prepare technical reports.
• Conduct accounting calculations and IFRS/IAS reporting.
• Assess actuarial impact of regulatory changes and plan amendments.
• Advise on funding mechanisms and financing strategies.
• Contribute to ALM studies, risk assessments and funding analyses.
• Support design, implementation and modification of pension plans.
• Collaborate on complex projects including mergers & acquisitions and regulatory changes.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships and ensure timely delivery.
