Projective Group is seeking a Payments Business Analyst to join its Financial Services practice in Brussels. You will translate client needs into tangible payments solutions, covering SEPA, SWIFT, cards, and open banking, while acting as the bridge among business, IT, vendors and regulators.

You will participate in payments transformation programs, support PSD2 and ISO 20022 initiatives, and contribute to process optimization and digital innovation.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to communicate in English and Dutch or French.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, with payments exposure.
• Solid understanding of payment processes (SEPA, SWIFT, cards, instant payments, reconciliation).
• Experience with regulatory/industry standards such as PSD2, ISO 20022 or open banking APIs is a plus.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, run workshops, and translate business needs into functional specs.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Translate client needs into impactful solutions across payments transformation programmes.
• Review and document business requirements for payments domains (SEPA, SWIFT, cards, instant payments, open banking).
• Bridge between business, IT, vendors and regulators to ensure alignment throughout projects.
• Support implementation of payment platforms and core banking transformations; contribute to regulatory initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, define functional specs, and validate solutions through testing and acceptance.
