HUBSITE BRUSSELS ANTWERP is seeking a packaging assistant to support fruit and vegetable processing and packaging operations in Antwerp. You will handle packing tasks, ensure accurate quantities and formats, and help maintain clean, safe working conditions.

The role also involves quality inspection of produce, pallet preparation for shipment, and safe operation of packaging equipment to meet hygiene standards. On-site work in Belgium with a focus on efficiency and product integrity.

Responsabilités

• Pack fresh fruits and vegetables in correct quantities and formats.
• Inspect products for quality, ripeness, and defects.
• Stack and prepare pallets for transport.
• Operate packaging materials and maintain hygiene standards.

As an employee in this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables.

• Packing fresh fruits and vegetables in the correct quantities and formats
• Ensuring a neat, efficient, and hygienic way of working
• Using the appropriate packaging materials and machinery

Quality Control

• Inspecting fruits and vegetables for quality, ripeness, and possible defects
• Removing products that do not meet quality standards
• Helping to maintain overall product quality

Pallet Stacking and Preparation

• Placing packaged products on pallets in a stable and organized manner
• Building pallets according to required specifications
• Preparing pallets for transport or storage

General Care and Safety

Working safely and carefully in accordance with quality and hygiene standards

• Correct use and basic maintenance of packaging machinery and materials
