Job summary

ITZU - Waregem is seeking a hands-on supervisor to organize daily packaging activities on site in Meulebeke. You will guide a team, manage task distribution, ensure quality and hygiene standards, and coordinate with production planning.

You will address technical issues promptly and push for efficient processes, including MES and ERP adoption under supervision. You will maintain clear communication with planning and inventory, and report progress and challenges to the Production Manager as

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the daily packaging activities.
• Guide employees and distribute tasks across the team.
• Keep a close eye on product quality, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Follow up on packaging orders and coordinate priorities.
• Act quickly when technical or operational issues occur.
• Look for practical ways to improve efficiency on the production floor.
• Maintain clear communication with production planning and finished goods storage.
• Keep the Production Manager informed about progress and possible challenges.
• Help introduce and optimize the use of MES and ERP systems within the department.
