Job summary

AXA Belgium zoekt een P&C Underwriting Expert SME die verantwoordelijk is voor acceptatie, uitgifte en beheer van schadeverzekeringen. U coacht teams, fungeert als technische referentie en onderhandelt zelfstandig met makelaars en klanten om de strategie te implementeren.

De functie vereist een Master-diploma en minstens 10 jaar ervaring, met uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Frans. Reizen is mogelijk; AXA promoot inclusie en gelijke kansen.

Qualifications

• Master degree of equal value with preference in insurance, law, economics or finance.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent command of Dutch and French.
• Ability to position as technical expert and key contact.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and development of staff to raise professionalism.
• Serve as technical reference for brokers, clients and internal/exec committees.
• Lead team performance goals, evaluate staff and participate in recruitment.
• Promote information exchange to improve service quality.
• Participate in projects to achieve technical profitability and cost control.
• Define policies and guidelines for underwriting and management of lines.
• Execute Directie P&C Underwriting SME strategy to meet organizational goals.
• Represent the organization and negotiate independently with internal and external partners.
