Vulcain Engineering Group | Belgium is seeking a Project Engineer – Lines to oversee feasibility and engineering preparation for overhead line projects, including towers and substation connections.

You will conduct feasibility studies, define routing and tower concepts, prepare specifications and tender documents, and develop budgets and schedules while coordinating with civil, environmental, and permitting stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar field.
• Experience in overhead lines or transmission infrastructure.
• Knowledge of structural design and routing constraints.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct feasibility studies for overhead line infrastructure.
• Define routing, tower design concepts, and technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
• Develop budget estimates and project schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, environmental, and permitting stakeholders.
• Interface with external engineering companies and internal experts.
• Deliver complete project scope packages for execution teams.
• Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
