Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Antwerp is seeking an OT Architect to enhance the operational technology landscape. You will evaluate and refine OT architecture, standards, and documentation while ensuring secure IT/OT integration.

Design OT architectures (Purdue model), define data flow standards, review existing OT standards, and support projects through architectural guidelines and technology selection. Mentoring and adherence to NIS2, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001 complete the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial automation, OT environments, or IT/OT integration.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial applications.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Design OT architectures for industrial automation systems using Purdue Model and reference frameworks.
• Define standards and principles for data flows and integrations between OT and IT platforms.
• Evaluate OT standards for completeness and alignment with current requirements.
• Support technical projects through design reviews, architectural guidelines, and technology selection.
• Ensure compliance with NIS2, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001 with information security teams.
• Mentor and coach internal staff for knowledge transfer and sustainability of the OT role.
