The European Defence Agency invites applications for a Project Officer Land Systems Technologies to lead CapTech Land activities within the RTI Directorate. The role involves steering expert groups, updating strategic research agendas and pushing capability-led Re9&D priorities across EU MS.

Applicants should have a university degree in a relevant engineering field, at least seven years of RTI or defence project experience, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree equivalents in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or systems engineering; closely related fields.
• Minimum seven years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical background in military land systems and related platforms.
• Familiarity with European defence cooperation policies and funding frameworks.
• Extensive experience in RT project management and exploitation of defence research results.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Moderate and steer CapTech Land and related expert groups on EDA platforms.
• Maintain and update the SRIA on Land Systems in line with MS orientations.
• Contribute to RTI initiatives defining capability-led priorities and roadmaps.
• Support RTI projects including contracting, monitoring and evaluation.
• Coordinate and organize RTI experts' meetings and workshops.
• Represent the Agency in security and defence seminars and workshops.
