School association zoekt een Operations & Partnerships Manager om de dagelijkse werking te leiden en strategische doelen te vertalen naar concrete acties. U werkt nauw samen met de Raad van Bestuur, beheert budgetten, KPI's en sponsorrelaties, en ontwikkelt samenwerkingen binnen de School‑community.

De rol vereist 3–5 jaar ervaring in vergelijkbare functies, sterke communicatie- en organisatorische vaardigheden, en een passie voor onderwijs en duurzaamheid.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol of in team- en projectmanagement.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in business development, prospectie en sponsor-/partnerbeheer.
  • Sterke vaardigheden in financieel beheer, communicatie en eventorganisatie.
  • In staat om effectief samen te werken met een Raad van Bestuur en strategische richting om te zetten.
  • Sterke cross-functionele coördinatie en het beheren van complexe stakeholders.

Responsabilités

  • Dagelijks bestuur van de vereniging – 70% van de tijd.
  • Toezicht op boekhoudprocessen en cashflow, betalingen en factuurafhandeling.
  • Opstellen van financiële en operationele rapportages zoals P&L en budgetten.
  • Identificeer verbeteringen voor efficiënter resourcebeheer en meet KPI's.
  • Uitvoering van strategische doelstellingen in samenwerking met de Raad.
  • Beheren van Sponsorship & Partnerships (20%).
  • Coördineren van samenwerking tussen School-entity’s voor synergieën (10%).
  • Neem deel aan evenementenplanning, -communicatie en -netwerken.

Founded more than 2 decades ago, the school association is the association representing all graduates of the School Group. Today, with more than 15,000 alumni, the association supports and promotes the School association students and graduates throughout their professional careers by providing services tailored to their needs.

Operations & Partnerships Manager - School association

The Operations & Partnerships Manager of the school association plays a central role in the day-to-day management of the association. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Operations & Partnerships Manager ensures that operations are aligned with the association's mission and strategic objectives. The Operations & Partnerships Manager contributes to the development of growth strategies and oversees their implementation, manages the team and ensures the effective allocation of resources.

The Operations & Partnerships Manager also develops and coordinates synergies between the different School entities to ensure consistency, efficiency and attractiveness across the wider School community.

  • Day-to-day management of the association - 70%
  • Monitor accounting processes and cash flow, including payments, reimbursements and invoice settlements.
  • Prepare financial and operational reporting, including P&L, cash flow and budgets.
  • Prepare budget proposals in collaboration with the Treasurer.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to optimise resource management.
  • Implement KPIs to measure the impact of initiatives and adjust strategies where necessary.

Operational Execution of Strategic Objectives

  • Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop the association's strategy and action plan.
  • Provide the analyses, KPIs and reports required to monitor and support the implementation of Board decisions.

Communication

  • Translate the strategic communication plan into an actionable roadmap and oversee its implementation with the team.
  • Manage communication projects, including the development and monitoring of campaigns.
  • Manage social media activities and coordinate communication materials.
  • Implement tools to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives, including ROI, engagement rates, etc.
  • Contribute to content creation, including articles, newsletters and social media content, in line with the association's strategic objectives.

Events

  • Oversee the organisation of events, including coordination, communication, logistics and reporting.
  • Manage networking events in collaboration with the team.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with speakers, sponsors and other organisations to enrich the events programme.
  • Propose innovative event formats to meet members' expectations and increase engagement.
  • Attend and represent School association at events.

Human Resources

  • Ensure the operational supervision of the team and conduct individual performance reviews.
  • Propose and organise training initiatives to strengthen individual skills and improve collective performance.
  • Foster a positive team culture based on collaboration and the achievement of shared objectives.
  • Sponsorship & Partnerships - 20%
  • Design and implement, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, a retention strategy aimed at developing sustainable, high-value partnerships.
  • Prospect for and identify new sponsorship opportunities aligned with the association's values, objectives and mission.
  • Manage and monitor sponsor relationships across administrative, financial and contractual matters.
  • Cross-functional Coordination within the School association Community - 10%

Take a holistic approach to managing relationships between all stakeholders, students, alumni and partners, in order to enhance the consistency, efficiency and attractiveness of the association.

  • Coordinate exchanges and collaboration with the other School association entities.
  • Develop and implement cross-functional synergies between the different School association entities, including students, alumni, chairs and other entities within the School association ecosystem, faculties and academic staff.
  • Coordinate and facilitate joint projects between the different entities to maximise synergies.
  • Establish platforms and opportunities for sharing best practices to foster innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintain an overview of the sponsors across all entities within the School association community and ensure this information is shared appropriately.
  • Maintain an overview of all events organised by School association entities and ensure this information is shared to strengthen the overall consistency of communications.
  • Represent the association with external partners and develop relationships with other organisations and institutions to strengthen network, in partnership with the Board of Directors.
Profiel
  • 3-5 years in a similar role or of proven experience in team and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, prospecting and sponsor/partnership management.
  • Strong skills in financial management, communication and event organisation.
  • Ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and translate strategic direction into concrete actions.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on member and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong appetite for challenges and new opportunities.
  • Sensitivity to sustainability and responsible practices.
  • An affinity with the student and/or education environment is considered a plus.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgement, 360 vision, positivity, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, autonomy and team spirit.
  • Fluent in French and English; any additional language is an asset.
