Atlas Copco Specialty Rental in Boom, Belgium, seeks an Operational Excellence Engineer to lead process improvements across our rental centers and service operations. You will standardize best practices, leverage data, and partner with global teams to deliver measurable business impact.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution, with travel to rental centers as needed to ensure tangible improvements and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in operations, service, manufacturing, or logistics environments is a plus.
• A university degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive change across decentralized teams.
• An analytical, customer‑focused mindset combined with a hands‑on approach to execution and continuous improvement.
• Growth mindset, curious and eager to learn from new perspectives
• You have a good command of the English language

As an Operational Excellence Engineer, your mission is to improve operational performance across Specialty Rental Division by leading rental and service process improvement initiatives drive out operations to exceptional customer experience, continuous operational efficiencies, and employee experience. You will work closely with teams across our global network to identify improvement opportunities, standardize best practices, and support our digital transformation journey. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to deliver real business impact.

This role is based at the Specialty Rental headquarters in Boom, Belgium, close to Antwerp. You will collaborate with teams across our global network and should be willing to travel to rental centers and operational sites when required.
