You will manage ship supplier quotes, shore-based food lists, and delivery monitoring, while negotiating standard equipment and adjusting orders from ship officers. Fluency in Dutch and English is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in retail, hotel management and/or kitchen work is advantageous.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
• Strong communicator with meticulous, cost-conscious approach.
• Experience in procurement is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Request quotations and select ship suppliers for best value.
• Manage shore-based food lists and supplier relations.
• Monitor timely delivery and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle supplier complaints and drive ongoing improvement.
• Hold regular online meetings with suppliers to improve collaboration.
• Monitor invoices to ensure correct supplier payments.
• Negotiate and purchase standard equipment; compile onboard catalogues.
• Adjust orders placed by ship officers as needed.
