ScioTeq BV is expanding its operations with an Operational Excellence Manager based at our Kortrijk headquarters in Belgium. You will own continuous improvement initiatives, KPI management and strategic operations projects to scale operations for future growth.

Reporting to the VP Operations, you will embed a culture of discipline and performance, leverage Power BI dashboards, and drive cost reduction and margin improvement through cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of lean methodologies and operational performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain and logistics.
• Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks and waste, translating them into sustainable actions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving across departments.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Deploy and coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
• Define, implement, and monitor operational KPIs and dashboards (Power BI).
• Translate operational data into actionable insights and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional strategic operations projects from concept to implementation.
• Support production transfers, footprint optimization and capacity planning initiatives.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for operational investments.
• Coordinate projects involving production line setup, outsourcing and scalability.
• Prepare the organization for future growth with scalable frameworks and capacity strategies.

As ScioTeq continues to grow internationally, we are looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to strengthen our operations organization.

In this brand-new role at our headquarters in Belgium (Kortrijk), you will become the driving force behind operational performance improvement across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives, KPI management and strategic operational projects, ensuring that ScioTeq is ready to scale efficiently and successfully support future growth.

Reporting to the VP Operations, this role serves as the central catalyst for embedding a culture of operational discipline and performance excellence.

Your responsibilities:

As Operational Excellence Manager, your mission is to build the foundation for a data-driven, high-performing operations organization. You will focus on three key domains:

Continuous Improvement & Lean Excellence

• You drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain and logistics.




• You identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks and waste, and translate these into sustainable improvement actions.




• You facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities across departments.




• You promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.




• You deploy, support and coach operational teams in Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Operational Performance & KPI Management

• You define, implement and monitor operational KPIs to ensure visibility, accountability and data-driven decision making.




• You develop performance dashboards and reporting structures in Power BI.




• You translate operational data into actionable insights and improvement opportunities.




• You identify cost reduction opportunities and drive margin improvement programs.

Strategic Operations Projects

• You lead cross-functional operational projects from concept to implementation.




• You support production transfers, manufacturing footprint optimization and capacity planning initiatives.




• You develop business cases and ROI analyses for operational investments.




• You coordinate projects involving production line setup, outsourcing initiatives and operational scalability.




• You prepare the organization for future growth by defining scalable operational frameworks and capacity strategies.

Your profile

• You hold a master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent through experience.




• You have minimum 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Improvement or Operations Management.




• You have a proven experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.




• You have project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.




• You have a strong knowledge of lean methodologies, continuous improvement and operational performance management.




• You have excellent stakeholder and communication skills in Dutch and English.




• You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution capability.




• You are willing to travel within the ScioTeq Group.
