NEBIRU is seeking an automation tester in Brussels to develop, maintain and optimise OpenText UFT scripts. You will work with VBScript and data- or keyword-driven frameworks and plan test cycles in ALM/HP ALM.

You will analyse results, log defects and ensure assets stay reliable and reusable. Collaboration with IT, business stakeholders and management is essential, with a focus on improving processes and reporting, including Power BI basics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText UFT or equivalent UFT experience.
• Experience with HP ALM / OpenText ALM, incl. test suites, cycles and test execution planning.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Good working knowledge of VBScript.
• Experience with data-driven, keyword-driven or hybrid test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and defect management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Accurate, proactive and structured working style.
• Clear professional communication and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is a strong advantage.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and optimise automated test scripts using OpenText UFT.
• Maintain and improve UFT object repositories and automation assets.
• Work with VBScript and data-/keyword-driven or hybrid automation frameworks.
• Plan and execute test cycles and test suites using OpenText ALM / HP ALM.
• Analyse test results and distinguish defects from automation issues.
• Log, track and follow up defects through to resolution.
• Keep test scripts and assets reliable, reusable and up to date.
• Collaborate with testers, IT teams, stakeholders and management.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, governance and efficiency.
• Support reporting and data-related activities, including basic Power BI usage.
