Nalys is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead the commissioning phase on-site for a major Seveso industrial revamp in the Liège region. You will work on a large-scale project covering HVAC, electrical, piping, distillation, and robotics, coordinating with contractors to bring processes safely into operation.

The role requires a background in engineering, experience with automation/electrical systems, and a practical, level-headed approach under pressure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with industrial focus.
First experience in an industrial Seveso-type environment is a strong plus.
Comfortable with automation, instrumentation and electrical systems.
Able to read P&IDs, PFDs and isometrics.
Grounding in materials science, fluid dynamics and piping.
Familiar with 3D modeling tools.
Rigorous, autonomous, analytical and flexible on-site.

Responsabilités

Lead commissioning on-site with contractors and manage the ground phase.
Run commissioning checklists and protocols across equipment (HVAC, vessels, piping, automation).
Record and document test results.
Raise and track non-conformance reports.
Solve problems on the ground in real time.
Monitor progress across all commissioning activities.
Support start-up testing and assist transition to operations.
