TSL seeks a dedicated Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead on-site activities for large-scale Belgian construction projects. You will be the voice of EHS on site, driving safe behaviours, contractor engagement and compliance with statutory, client and company requirements.

The role requires a visible on-site presence, strong safety culture and RAMS oversight, with continuous improvement of the EHS management system across projects in Belgium and Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a dedicated EHS role within construction, industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to engage and positively influence project teams, contractors and supervisors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English.
• Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
• Experience on large-scale construction, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of Dutch, French or other European languages.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific Construction Phase Health & Safety programmes.
• Provide visible and proactive EHS leadership across all project activities.
• Act as the primary EHS presence on site, supporting project teams.
• Support the Construction Director and project management teams in safety responsibilities and duties.
• Build relationships with contractors and supervisors to promote safe practices.
• Coordinate site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with RAMS, permits to work and safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
