Giga Energy is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer for a site-based role at a data center construction site in Belgium. You will keep mechanical construction moving, write and resolve RFIs, and own change orders end-to-end while coordinating with the Mechanical Superintendent, design team, and subcontractors.

You will read P&IDs, review specifications, and ensure the field reflects approved drawings and RFI resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience writing and managing RFIs and change orders on construction projects.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify, write, and track RFIs for mechanical scope and ensure clear documentation.
• Drive RFIs to timely closure with design teams and engineers of record.
• Review drawings, specs, and P&IDs to spot discrepancies before field issues.
• Prepare and price change order requests with backup documentation.
