About the position

As office assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with various administrative tasks

  • Assisting in preparation of the grant report to the European Parliament

  • Assisting in preparation of the tender documentation

  • Meeting room management

  • Office maintenance (contact with various suppliers)

  • Reception point for visitors

  • Organising deliveries and shipment

  • Managing the office supplies stock

  • Assisting with travel bookings

The assistant will be part of the Administration unit supervised by the Director of Finance, Compliance and Administration.

Indicative starting date: position to be filled in as soon as possible.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in the English language (working language of the organisation)

  • A very good knowledge of French and/or Dutch

  • Good organisational and coordination skills, including time and priority management

  • Excellent people skills, ability to work independently and in multi-cultural teams

  • Ability to take initiative and problem-solving attitude

  • Good computer skills and digital literacy

Assets
  • Previous work experience in similar positions

  • Experience in or interest in learning procurement is an asset

  • Understanding and adhering to Green values such as ecology, feminism, anti-racism and social justice

  • Limited duration contract of 6 months, with a possibility of prolongation
