Vivid Resourcing partners with a growing manufacturing organisation to recruit an ERP & Production Systems Specialist. You will maintain the ERP environment and support operational teams in preparing and planning production.

You will build configurations, manage BOMs and data, and drive process improvements across departments for smarter workflows and IT-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience with bills of materials, production data or planning is desirable.
• Interest in programming, automation and IT.

We are looking for an ERP & Production Systems Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organisation with its own production, development and operational teams.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that information, processes and production data flow accurately and efficiently through the organisation. You will work at the intersection of ERP, production preparation, data management and process optimisation, helping colleagues get the most from the systems they use every day.

Your role

As ERP & Production Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the organisation's ERP environment and supporting the operational teams in preparing and planning production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building, maintaining and improving product configurations within the ERP system.
• Creating and managing accurate bills of materials, production structures and production-related data.
• Preparing and adjusting technical and production information for customised projects.
• Performing costing, pricing and other calculations using ERP data.
• Ensuring that product, production and process data remains accurate and up to date.
• Supporting production preparation and production planning activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve and automate administrative and operational processes.
• Working closely with colleagues across different departments to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Providing practical support to users and helping resolve ERP-related issues.
• Contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of internal systems and processes.

About you

You are a structured and analytical person who enjoys working with both data and practical operational processes. You are comfortable taking ownership of your work, investigating problems and finding workable solutions.

• Has experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Has experience with bills of materials, production data and/or production planning.
• Has an interest in programming, automation and IT.
• Works accurately and has a strong eye for detail.
• Is practical, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Can work independently while communicating effectively with colleagues.
• Enjoys improving processes and finding smarter ways of working.
• Is willing to learn and develop their technical and ERP knowledge.

Experience with Odoo or similar ERP platforms is an advantage.

Experience with scripting, automation, data management or reporting is also highly valued.
