Job summary

Rhox in Belgium is seeking a Safety Engineer to perform periodic safety reviews of nuclear installations and guide resulting improvements. You will develop guidelines, run safety studies, lead projects including stress tests, and prepare licensing dossiers.

You will conduct calculations to support technical teams, ensuring high-quality work and clear communication with stakeholders in Dutch, English, and French. A strong safety mindset and collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Ability to design and check technical specifications and standards.
• Risk analysis and technical problem-solving skills.
• Technical project management, including planning and budget control.
• Clear technical advice and well-supported defence of licensing dossiers.
• Effective teamwork and communication with varied audiences.
• Broad interest in safety and commitment to developing your skills.
• Careful, high-quality work.
• Dutch (native).
• Technical English (good knowledge).
• Technical French (good knowledge).
