Job summary

Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Nuclear Systems to contribute to the design, optimisation, and technical development of electrical power systems. You will work on complex engineering projects, coordinating with suppliers to deliver reliable and compliant electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 5–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, electrical design, or power systems.
• Strong expertise in electrical schematics, electrical design, and electrical integration.
• Nuclear electrical systems experience is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of electrical equipment, power distribution systems, and applicable technical standards.
• BA4 or BA5 and VCA certifications.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is an asset.
• Willing to travel for short- or medium-term assignments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical design, renovation, and optimisation studies for electrical power systems in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Define equipment ratings, technical specifications, and electrical system designs covering generators, transformers, motors, electrical switchboards, emergency power supplies, and cabling.
• Prepare technical specifications and requirements for electrical equipment and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers, analyse technical proposals, and contribute to technical-commercial negotiations and contract follow-up.
• Manage technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical assessments, factory acceptance tests, on-site installation supervision, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct technical studies and simulations to identify solutions to complex electrical engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical engineering methods and practices.
