Westinghouse Electric Belgium is seeking a Component Structural Analyst Engineer II to join a team that supports nuclear power plant structural mechanics, including design reviews, factory follow-up, and plant modifications. The role is full-time and based in Nivelles with hybrid work options.

Candidates should have a Master's in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of experience, and fluency in English and French. ANSYS APDL/Workbench experience is required, and relocation to Belgium is considered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Interest in mechanical component stress analysis and FEA software.
• Interest in the nuclear industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Fluent in French; Dutch is valued.
• Based in Belgium or willing to relocate.
• Experience with ANSYS APDL or Workbench.

Responsabilités

• Perform manual calculations and finite element analysis in ANSYS to verify qualification of nuclear plant components.
• Document analyses in English and French.
• Propose integrated solutions to technical challenges during projects.
• Participate in international project teams and communicate with relevant parties.
• Travel to nuclear sites to support field interventions or customer meetings.
