Smappee is seeking a dynamic NPI Purchasing & Procurement Projects Lead to join our Supply Chain & Operations team in Belgium. You will drive procurement activities for new products, manage supplier relationships, and lead various purchasing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective material flow for innovative energy management solutions.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and logistics teams to optimize procurement processes, governance, and performance metrics,

Qualifications

Experience in procurement for new product introductions (NPI) and related purchasing activities.
Ability to lead procurement projects across multiple commodities and product lines.
Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.

Responsabilités

Manage prototyping-related procurement to support timely development and quality.
Develop and optimize procurement strategies for targeted commodities and product categories.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design decisions for best total cost of ownership.
Monitor market trends and identify risks and new suppliers/technologies.
Lead procurement tools and systems improvements and governance structures.
