Sopra Steria seeks an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant and NIS2 Specialist to strengthen EU regulatory governance and cybersecurity programs. You will advise, implement, and manage initiatives aligned with European security directives and risk management practices across our organization.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in GRC, ISO 27001 expertise, and English plus French or Dutch to serve Belgian clients.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, ideally in public and industry sectors.
• Proven track record with information security frameworks, notably ISO 27001; knowledge of CyFun is necessary.
• Hands-on Information Security Officer experience or security management in large projects.
• Strong PM background; ISO27001 certification required; nice to have CISA or CISM.
• Fluent English plus French or Dutch to support Belgian public/industry clients.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support security and compliance initiatives aligned with NIS2 requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, maturity evaluations, and design internal control frameworks.
• Provide strategic guidance on governance structures, compliance reporting, and regulatory alignment.
• Drive ISO 27001 implementation and act as ISO advisor where needed.
• Support project and program management activities related to cybersecurity and compliance.
• Act as SME on NIS2 requirements, advising on implementation and compliance strategies.
• Train and guide stakeholders in understanding obligations under NIS2.
• Drive business development related to NIS2, supporting pre-sale activities and responses.
