Job summary

Hectaar is seeking a New-Build Property Sales Consultant in Ternat to guide customers through purchasing their new home. You will sell new-build developments, welcome buyers, and ensure a smooth, personal process from first meeting to handover.

You will need a bachelor’s in real estate or equivalent, with a keen interest in property and strong customer focus. Evening/weekend events are expected. A BIV registration is a plus.

• Holding a BIV registration number is a strong advantage.
• You have an interest in property and want to continue developing expertise.
• Sound basic understanding of property law to guide customers through purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the purchase of their new home.
• Sell our new-build developments and welcome prospective buyers in a professional manner.
• Advise customers and actively listen to their needs, wishes and expectations.
• Prepare the launch of new projects, check plans and ensure sales documents are prepared.
• During construction, track customer choices and communicate with the project manager.
• Be the customer’s main contact from the initial meeting through handover of the home.
• Build strong customer relationships and strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

As a New-Build Property Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in our projects. You will guide customers through the purchase of their new home, ensuring that the entire process runs smoothly and is handled professionally and personally.

• You will be responsible for selling our new-build developments and welcoming prospective buyers in a professional and friendly manner.
• You will advise customers and actively listen to their needs, wishes and expectations.
• You will prepare the launch of new projects, check plans and ensure that sales documents are prepared.
• During the construction process, you will keep track of the choices made by customers and ensure clear communication with the project manager.
• You will be the customer’s main point of contact from the initial meeting right through to the handover of their home.
• You will build strong customer relationships and always strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor’s degree in real estate and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Holding a BIV registration number is a strong advantage.
• You have a keen interest in property and are eager to continue developing your expertise.
• You have a sound basic understanding of property law to guide customers correctly throughout the purchasing process.
• You have an enthusiastic personality and a healthy dose of empathy. You are results-driven and have a strong commercial mindset.
• Evening work doesn’t put you off. You are also happy to attend events at weekends.
• You can manage several cases at once while maintaining an excellent eye for detail.
• You communicate clearly and professionally, always putting the customer first.
• You are a team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
• You are solution-oriented and can respond quickly to unexpected situations.
• You hold a category B driving licence.
