Imec India Private Limited is seeking a motivated intern to assist with the mechanical characterization of neural probes and reporting. The role involves analyzing mechanical test data and preparing summary reports, contributing to the Neuropixels probe development and data-driven insights.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science or engineering, be fluent in English, and be comfortable handling fragile probes and working with chemicals in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or engineering fields
• Experience or familiarity with mechanical characterization is a plus
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) and ability to handle delicate probes

Responsabilités

• Mechanical validation of neural probes and related testing.
• Force measurements for in-vitro implantation testing.
• Data handling and analysis using Python and MATLAB.
• Safely handling and storing fragile neural probes.
• Encapsulating PCBs in an epoxy mold.
• Summarizing data in a structured report.
