Job summary

X4 Technology is seeking a Network Security Engineer to manage and optimise firewall rules across Cisco and Palo Alto environments, ensuring secure and efficient network traffic.

You will conduct application risk assessments, maintain an inventory of applications, and provide network and security support across the client IT environment, including Microsoft 365 (O365), troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to security policy improvements in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proven track record in enterprise network security architecture.
• Willingness to work on-site in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise firewall rules across Cisco and Palo Alto environments.
• Conduct application risk assessments and maintain application inventories.
• Provide network and security support across the client's IT environment, including O365.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, firewall and security incidents.
• Support improvement of network security policies, configurations and processes.
