A Belgian organisation supporting self-employed entrepreneurs through Belgium's social security system is making its Azure platform reusable for other development teams. As a .NET Azure DevOps Engineer, you will create shared .NET components and delivery automation with C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure DevOps CI/CD, YAML pipelines and Bicep, helping 11 teams deliver applications consistently.
More than 150 people work in the IT service, organised across 11 development teams that use Scrum within a SAFe delivery model. The transversal platform team includes a Scrum Master, developers, AI Software Engineers, an Ops Engineer and a Product Owner. Its current initiative is to turn Azure capabilities into reliable, scalable building blocks that other teams can reuse, supporting consistent delivery across the organisation.
Your day-to-day work will combine software engineering, platform enablement and technical guidance. You will design, develop and maintain reusable .NET components and Azure DevOps CI/CD components, using C#, ASP.NET Core, PowerShell, YAML pipelines and Bicep files. You will join PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies, work with developers, testers, architects and delivery roles, and connect your changes to the needs of the wider development community. Code reviews, automated tests, technical documentation, issue resolution and coaching are part of the role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
