Rhox is extending its Microsoft software landscape with a Senior .NET Developer role focused on C# and .NET 10, ASP.NET Web API and Blazor. The position translates functional requirements into production-ready components, collaborating with analysts and architects to deliver scalable, secure software solutions.

You will work across .NET Framework/Core, REST APIs and SQL Server-backed systems, using EF Core, MVC, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JWT/OIDC.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production software with C# and .NET in modern stacks.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Web API, Blazor, MVC and REST APIs.
• Experience with JWT/OIDC authentication and authorization.

Responsabilités

An organisation supporting public services through ICT and data services is extending its Microsoft software landscape, with ongoing work on secure, maintainable applications and reusable services. This Senior .NET Developer role focuses on C# and .NET 10, ASP.NET Web API and Blazor, translating functional requirements into production-ready components alongside analysts and architects.

The mission

The team works across .NET Framework and .NET Core applications, REST APIs and SQL Server-backed systems. The technical landscape includes Entity Framework Core, MVC, Swagger/OpenAPI, and authentication and authorization based on JWT, OIDC and claims. The work matters because these applications must provide consistent functionality while meeting requirements for security, performance, testing and long-term maintainability.

You will take responsibility for delivering software components from functional analysis through implementation, review and validation. Day to day, you will design scalable solutions with architecture colleagues, develop APIs and application features, and resolve technical issues affecting quality or performance. You will provide technical guidance to other developers and contribute to decisions about suitable Microsoft technologies. Your work will connect team-level delivery with the broader evolution of the organisation's ICT and data services.

Your responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions using C# and .NET.
• Develop secure ASP.NET Web API and REST APIs, Blazor features and supporting MVC components.

• Improve code quality through structured reviews, coding standards, and unit and integration tests.
• Identify performance issues and optimise application and database behaviour with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Guide colleagues on technical decisions and assess new Microsoft technologies against business and service requirements.

Essential skills

• Builds production software with C# and .NET, including .NET Core and .NET 10, with relevant understanding of .NET Framework.
• Designs and develops ASP.NET Web API services and REST APIs, documenting interfaces with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Develops user-facing application features with Blazor and understands the role of MVC in Microsoft application architectures.
• Implements authentication and authorization using JWT, OIDC and claims-based access control.
• Works effectively with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server for data access and persistence.
• Writes meaningful unit and integration tests and uses them to protect application quality during change.
• Analyses functional needs, proposes viable technical alternatives, and explains design decisions clearly.
• Contributes through code reviews, technical leadership and collaborative coaching of colleagues.
• Demonstrates the autonomy expected at medior level, together with structured thinking and adaptability when technical or contextual requirements change.
