Air Liquide Belge in Belgium seeks a procurement professional to define and implement the transport category strategy across Benelux, the UK, and Germany, focusing on bulk and PG transportation. You will manage supplier relationships, drive performance, and support long-term contracts.

• Develop carrier safety performance roadmaps aligned with Road Safety Stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements, run RFx, evaluate offers based on TCO.
• Lead Category Boards with senior leadership across countries and clusters.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and plan RFx processes.
• Summarize stakeholder feedback and identify TCO reduction opportunities.

Description du poste

Definition of the transport category strategy in scope (Benelux, UK, CO2 Germany) for bulk and PG transportation based on current and future internal requirements as well as supplier and competitive analyses. Ensuring implementation and adapting the category strategy across NCE Cluster and European perimeter with peers.. Managing contracts and supplier relationships long-term. Responsibility for procurement performance.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• a) Category Strategy Support development of carrier safety performance roadmaps in alignment with Road Safety Stakeholders (Cluster and Group) Conducting market analyses and analyzing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) drivers Manage Category Boards with Senior leadership in countries and Clusters Propose transformational roadmaps (crossborder schemes, clean energy vehicles). Support CFOs to mitigate fuel price fluctuation risks. Identifying short-term (e.g., portfolio consolidation) and long-term (e.g., standardization) opportunities, consolidating requirements, and planning RFx (Requests for X/Proposals).
• b) Procurement Activities Analyzing requirements and discussing them with stakeholders/requesters. Identifying potential suppliers, executing RFx, analyzing offers based on TCO, and finalizing a shortlist. Preparing, conducting, and successfully closing negotiations. Defining measures and metrics to verify proper implementation and tracking them accordingly.
• c) Supplier Relationship Management Management of quarterly Reviews with operations and senior carrier management Prepare and lead annual business reviews with senior carrier and AL leadership
• d) Stakeholder Management Summarizing feedback from internal customers regarding aspects such as our suppliers and category strategy. Conducting workshops to identify TCO reduction opportunities.
• e) Reporting Creating and maintaining relevant reports.

Are you a MATCH?

Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Business Administration. 3-5 years of professional experience. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Outstanding and proven analytical skills, e.g., in cross functional project management. Leadership qualities and out-of-the-box thinking. Negotiation experience with external stakeholders.
