Job summary

Skeyes Air Traffic in Belgium is seeking a Navaids System Specialist to maintain navigation aids such as landing systems and radio beacons. You will ensure proper functioning, use professional measuring equipment, a measuring truck and a drone, and keep maintenance logs and technical reports up to date.

The role involves contributing to development, installation and testing of new systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and national/international regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate/bachelor's degree in electronics or aerospace engineering or similar training/work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of radio frequency (RF) techniques, computer networks and digital/analogue electronics.
• Fluent in English and able to express well in Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language.

Responsibilities

• Analysing problems and suggesting improvements or solutions.
• Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of Navaids to ensure proper functioning using measuring equipment and a drone.
• Contribute to development, installation and testing of new systems and ensure navigation systems comply with ISO standards and regulations.
• Attend internal training courses to become a certified team member and participate in a shift regime to keep systems operational 24/7.
• Train employees in the field to promote knowledge and skills.
