skeyes is seeking a Navaids System Specialist to maintain and optimize navigation aids essential for aviation safety. You will ensure proper operation of landing systems and radio beacons, participate in the development of new navigation solutions, and stay compliant with ISO standards and aviation regulations.

You will attend internal trainings, work in shifts to keep systems up 24/7, and train field staff to share knowledge across the team. Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate/bachelor's degree in electronics or aerospace engineering, or similar training/work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of RF techniques, computer networks and digital and analogue electronics.
• Fluent English and good Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language.
• At least a category B driving licence to travel to intervention sites.
• Team player but able to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility, stress-resistance and eagerness to learn for adapting to new technologies.
• Reliability, initiative and good organisation skills.

Responsabilités

• Analysing problems and proposing improvements or solutions.
• Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of landing systems, radio beacons and related equipment.
• Contribute to development, installation and testing of new navigation systems and ensure ISO and regulatory compliance.
• Attend internal training courses and participate in a 24/7 shift regime to keep systems operational.
• Train field personnel to promote knowledge and skills within the team.
