Job summary

WLG is seeking an experienced security professional to support multinational operations and high-profile events, including international travel risk management. The role involves analyzing travel data, compiling intelligence from open sources, and delivering tailored security briefings for staff and events.

You will develop risk-based security plans, conduct audits and site surveys, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure safety during major events.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in security administration, risk management or industrial security with responsibility for planning and executing operations for high-profile events or international travel.
• Proven experience planning and running security for major events with VIPs or large international operations.
• Industry-recognised risk management certification (e.g., PMP or CRMP).
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret security data from open sources to produce briefings and incident reports.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including law enforcement and leadership.
• Proficient in office tools, security databases and collaboration platforms, with strong open-source research skills.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse travel databases to identify high-risk destinations and critical staff locations.
• Collect and analyse security information from open sources, classified reporting and advisories to assess risk ahead of travel.
• Provide travellers with comprehensive security briefings on protocols, risks, and mitigation.
• Develop security plans for high-risk events and missions in line with policy.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and site surveys to identify vulnerabilities at venues.
• Review attendee lists for non-member participants and assess counter-intelligence risks.
• Prepare security briefs for senior approval and oversee at venues during events.
• Coordinate security for high-profile events with authorities and partners—logistics, site assessments and emergency response.
• Write after-action reports and lessons learned from events.
• Brief internal stakeholders on security requirements and operational priorities.
