Job summary

Spektrum, supporting NATO NCIA projects in Brussels, seeks skilled cybersecurity professionals for 2nd-level security operations. You will monitor security, respond to incidents, and enhance defensive capabilities across classified networks, reporting to the security team.

Ideal candidates possess 1+ year in CIS security, Windows/Linux experience, SIEM and vulnerability assessment skills, and strong English. Travel to NATO sites may be required; on-site work in Belgium is essential.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary education with related experience in CIS security.
• At least 1 year in Windows and Linux operating systems and IP networking.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection, and security tools.
• Experience in Security Operations Centre processes and procedures.
• Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, log fusion and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd-level security monitoring and incident response.
• Conduct security testing, verification, scanning, and monitoring of networks.
• Update, baseline, improve and document cybersecurity capabilities.
• Report on the security posture and flag discoveries to the security team.
• Support monitoring, analysis, and modification of security services.
• Identify, describe and resolve technical issues and network anomalies.
• Support operational deployments and occasional business travel when required.
