MindCapture seeks a Scientist MRI to develop and validate MRI methods for pharmaceutical materials, formulations and dosage forms at our Beerse laboratory. You will apply MRI to study hydration, disintegration, diffusion and release mechanisms while translating imaging results into actionable development insights.

You will collaborate with formulation, analytical and materials teams, present findings to multidisciplinary stakeholders, and help shape future imaging strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physics, chemistry or related field.
• PhD or postdoc experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with preclinical MRI instrumentation.
• Strong imaging data processing and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop and validate MRI methods for pharmaceutical materials and dosage forms.
• Apply MRI to study hydration, disintegration, diffusion and release models.
• Characterise coating integrity and spatial heterogeneity in formulations.
• Evaluate drug delivery function via non-destructive MRI imaging.
• Prepare samples, run experiments, interpret imaging data, report findings.
• Translate imaging results into development insights for formulation and process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across formulation, analytical and materials.
• Present results to internal stakeholders; contribute to imaging strategy.
