City National Bank seeks a Community Lending Mortgage Banker Assistant to support CLMBs in timely loan review, documentation, and submission processes. You will coordinate with operations to obtain necessary materials and track loan status.

You will manage loan documents, assist with conditions, interact with Clients, escrow, title, and agents, and support marketing and prequalification activities while ensuring adherence to laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years residential loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (e.g. RESPA, Reg Z, ECOA, State Fair Lending).
• SAFE Act registration must be in good standing under the Safe Act with NMLS and related requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist CLMB’s with new loan applications by entering information into the loan operating system and collecting documentation.
• Manage loan documents in shared drives or repositories and maintain organization.
• Create and monitor reports to track loan and CLMB needs and status.
• Support submission of conditions and monitor expiration dates on credit commitments and locks.
• Communicate with Clients to obtain missing information for loan approvals and closings.
• Support marketing and external lead follow-up activities.
• Assist with prequalification/preapproval documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and administrative duties.
