In4Matic is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to service electromechanical equipment across Belgium. You will diagnose issues, perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs in the field, often at customer sites.

Travel and practical problem solving are core parts of the role. Ideal candidates are comfortable working outside office environments, with PLC experience and strong reporting skills to document interventions and outcomes for technical teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Belgium, with willingness to travel 200–300 km daily.
• Fluent French (C1) and working knowledge of Dutch and English (B2).
• Valid category B driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, test, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and perform independent repairs with structured troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximise reliability and lifetime of equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance when applicable.
• Read technical drawings and follow PLC-related instructions.
• Document interventions clearly and prepare technical reports for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Train colleagues and end users on operation and best practices.
