Innova Solutions is seeking a Mobile Core Solution Engineer to drive the analysis, end-to-end design, development, and delivery of core mobile network solutions for global IoT connectivity. You will bridge architecture with delivery, aligning with business, regulatory, cost, and time-to-market objectives.

Working across cross-functional teams, you will evaluate technology options, balance capabilities with in-house integration, and own requirements engineering through production rollout.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional telecom/IT/mobile connectivity experience.
• End-to-end understanding of mobile core architectures (2G/3G/4G LTE and 5G Core) across traditional and cloud environments.
• Strong protocol and signaling expertise (HTTP, SS7, Diameter, MAP, INAP, and GTP).
• Hands-on familiarity with SIM/eSIM ecosystems (eUICC, SM-DP/SM-SR, OTA provisioning).
• Experience with end-to-end call-flow analysis, network troubleshooting, and integration testing.
• Knowledge of international carrier landscape, IoT/M2M, roaming, MVNO/MVNE environments.

Responsabilités

• Review, validate, and design technical solutions within constraints of business, regulatory, and budget.
• Lead platform development, contribute to product roadmaps, and perform technical assessments for network evolutions.
• Drive end-to-end implementation projects across the lifecycle, coordinating with stakeholders on design, rollout, and handoff.
• Balance vendor capabilities with internal development and integration efforts.
• Draft and review detailed functional/technical specifications, integration guidelines, and RFPs.

• Act as a technical authority and reference point for internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a Mobile Core Solution Engineer to join our SIM for Things (SFT) team. In this role, you will drive the analysis, end-to-end design, development, and delivery of core mobile network solutions for global IoT connectivity. You will bridge high-level technical architecture with hands-on delivery, aligning solutions with business, operational, regulatory, cost, and time-to-market objectives.

Working across cross-functional teams, you will evaluate technology options, balance vendor capabilities with in-house integration, and take end-to-end ownership from requirements engineering to production rollout. You will play a pivotal role in performing technical assessments, executing complex call-flow analyses, and guiding platform evolutions.

Tasks Description:

• Review, validate, and design technical solutions to ensure alignment with business, regulatory, operational, budget, and time-to-market constraints.
• Lead technical platform development, contribute to product roadmaps, and perform technical assessments for network evolutions.
• Drive end-to-end implementation projects across the lifecycle, coordinating with stakeholders on solution design, rollout, integration, and operational handoff.
• Balance third-party/vendor capabilities with internal software development and integration efforts.
• Draft and review detailed functional and technical specifications, integration guidelines, and RFP documents.
• Perform architecture and impact analyses, defining operational methods, procedures, and documentation for product, marketing, and operations teams.
• Apply deep call-flow analysis and troubleshooting expertise to solve complex core network, protocol, and interoperability issues.
• Act as a technical authority and reference point for internal and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance and building trust across teams.

Experience & technical expertise:

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in telecom, IT, or mobile connectivity environments, with a strong blend of design and implementation skills.
• Solid end-to-end understanding of mobile core network architectures (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G Core) across traditional and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong protocol and signaling expertise across HTTP, SS7, Diameter, MAP, INAP, and GTP.
• Hands-on familiarity with SIM/eSIM ecosystems, including eUICC, SM-DP/SM-SR, SM-DP+, SIM applets, and Over-The-Air (OTA) provisioning.
• Proven experience conducting end-to-end call-flow analysis, network troubleshooting, and integration testing.
• Broad understanding of the international carrier landscape, IoT/M2M platforms, roaming, and MVNO/MVNE environments.

Nice to have:

• Direct experience with specific mobile core components (e.g., P-GW/GGSN, HSS/HLR, PCRF, UPF, AMF, SMF).
• Prior experience delivering complex telecom solutions on time and within scope.
• Familiarity with containerized microservices and cloud-native network deployments.
• Strong technical communication, negotiation, and presentation skills-able to bridge technical detail and business context.
